This first week of my family relations class made me realize something. It made me truly understand the importance of family and how important each person is in their family. I always enjoy reading the Family Proclamation to the World and reading what each persons roles are within the family. I couldn't help but think about my family and the close knit bond that I had and still have with them. I am so grateful for that. I'm grateful for parents who are not only interested in just being my parents but they are my friends as well. To me I look at the family as the foundation to the church. I grew up with parents who tried their best to teach me right from wrong and without their examples in my life it's hard to know where I would be.
